Well, after a week off from blog posting, it is time for another final blog post. That's right, a few more days and I am done with classes and my second Masters Degree is complete.
The topic of the week:
Now that you are finishing up the course, post a blog entry about lessons learned. What was the most difficult part of the course? Anything you'd do differently?
I think mostly, this class wrapped up a number of things that were covered in previous classes. I would say, it was a recap and it tied everything together. What I enjoyed most was going from the start to the final product with a case study I was familiar with from past classes. The hardest part of the class was just getting dropped into the "build a threat model" early on. This made things a bit difficult, but I do understand that one of the issues is this was a summer class and 10 weeks long rather than the normal 12 weeks. I would have liked the 12 week class, but hey I am ready to be graduated.
I expect that in about two weeks I will putting this new found knowledge to use on our organization's network. I guess that will be the sink or swim moment. Anyway .... that's all folks!
